Project: Heart Surgery Support to 2 Children - Cheque handed over to Rotary Club of Madras South
Inner Wheel Club of Madras South is proud to present Rs 50000/- for the Surgery of 2 Children suffering from Congenial Heart Disease. President Shila Krishnan and PDC Sita Lakshminarayana along with District Chairman Kala Rajasekhar presented the cheque to Rotarian Saravanan on 14 May 2019. The heart operation of these children was successfully completed and the children returned homes for recovery from Sooriya Hospital Chennai.

s 50,000/- collected from Members of Inner Wheel Club of Madras South and friends in Inner Wheel from Midtown handed over to support the surgery of 2 infants suffering from Congenial Heart condition that needs surgery. The cheque was handed over by President Shila Krishnan and District Chairman Kalarajasekar and contributions were also made by PDC Swarnalatha and Kala Basyam to Rtn Saravanan, President of Rotary Club of Madras South on 14 May 2019, Tuesday at the meeting in Hotel Savera.

29 April 2019- Project : Visit to Leprosy Home Chengelpet
Date. 29/4/2019
Day. Monday
Time. Start at 8.00 am to be there by 10.00 am
Destination Chengelpet
We provided inmates 150 of them with Organic bathing Soap, Washing Soap, 100 ml Coconut oil & a pack of biscuit for each member. The total cost towards this works out to Rs.12.000/- and sponsored by Shila Krishnan and her sister

26 April 2019- Project : Leg deformation correction surgery for disabled child Sangeetha of Kumaran Special School
Our club sponsored Rs 7000 ( provided by members Umasree Rs 5000 and Kalarani Rs 2000) towards the leg deformation correction surgery of the differently abled child Sangeetha of Kumaran Special school Ennore and the friends and family of Umasree collected another Rs 28000/- towards this special need. The surgery got completed successfully on 26 April 2019 and the child is currently back home and recovering. Post surgery physiotherapy and rehabilitation will be done in the short run. Thanks to Rajeena and Magdoom for their continuous support to this special home.
