IW DISTRICT 323- ISO SPORTS MEET - ULYMPICS - 3 SEP 2016 AT MGR JANAKI COLLEGE, CHENNAI

Our ISO PROJECT this year is a joint event. Along with 28 clubs we organized " ULYMPICS", which was a 5 hr fun - filled sporting spectacle.

Date: Saturday 3 rd September 2016.

Venue: MGR JANAKI College, Adayar

TIME:  1.00 pm onwards.

OUR GAME:

IWC MADRAS SOUTH - ROLLY BALLY

SUMMARY : Time limit - 30 seconds

2 people face each other & hold a plastic ball tight on their stomach. Then they slowly move the ball around their waistline, without touching or holding the ball & bring it back to the starting point.

Rules.              : players seen touching or gripping the ball with their hands will be disqualified.

Teachers Day Celebrations on 2 Sep 2016 at Mannur Chengalvaraya Naidu Higher Secondary School in T Nagar

Honouring teachers every year is our Club's Pride. This year we honoured the enthusiastic and dedicated teachers of Mannur Chengalvaraya Naidu Higher Secondary School in T'Nagar on 2nd September 2016 at 10.30 am. One of  the 4th std students spoke about Teacher's day excellently in Tamil and an eighth std student spoke about literacy in English beautifully. We gave them both a small gift in appreciation on behalf of our club. 

President Rajeena spoke about literacy and gave a  detailed report about  the Inner Wheel Club & its activities.  We conducted "passing the ball"  game to all teachers & gave prize to 2 winners and  felicitated all 27 teachers (including non teaching staff).  We distributed wafer biscuits to all students.

Inauguration of Computer Lab in NKT Boy's High School in Triplicane- 1 Sep 2016

 IWC Madras South - inaugurated a Computer Lab in NKT Boy's High School in Triplicane . They have also arranged for one of their members Clcc Vasanthi to teach the children about Computer Education in such a way that they have not only established the lab but are also working towards the children getting the maximum benefit out of it.
