Chairman Visit Project : BIRD oldage home, 14 September 2018, Friday

For the last 15 years, Inner Wheel Club of Madras South has been providing continuous support to BIRD Oldage home by providing Groceries every year and also made it our Signature Project for our Golden Jubliee Celebrations in 2013  by building a prayer hall and dinning hall by donating around Rs.7 lakhs.

It would only be appropriate to make a visit to this place as our Chairman Visit Project and take the opportunity to help the elders with our support again.   On 14 Sep 2018 our members accompanied by our District Chairman Kala Rajasekar visited the BIRD oldage home and donated money for 2 days Lunch and also distributed 50 bed sheets consecutively for second year.

We have decided also to look into the needs of the elders and also try to provide them with tables/chairs for the dinning hall so that the very aged and physically challenged elders no need to struggle sitting down and eating
