Honouring
teachers every year is our Club's Pride. This year we honoured the
enthusiastic and dedicated teachers of Mannur Chengalvaraya Naidu Higher
Secondary School in T'Nagar on 2nd September 2016 at 10.30 am. One of
the 4th std students spoke about
Teacher's day excellently in Tamil and an eighth std student spoke
about literacy in English beautifully. We gave them both a small gift in
appreciation on behalf of our club.
President Rajeena spoke about literacy and gave a detailed report
about the Inner Wheel Club & its activities. We conducted "passing
the ball" game to all teachers & gave prize to 2 winners and
felicitated all 27 teachers (including non teaching staff).
We distributed wafer biscuits to all students.
