On 20 Oct 2016, Opening of the renovated Computer hall with new flooring at NKT Boys School, Triplicane.   District Chairman Shama Prasanna did the honors with symbolic ribbon cutting preceded by the EC Meeting at Vasanthi's residence to review the annual accounts and club activities.

Visit to Bird Oldage Home , near Dindivanam

Today (17.10.16) we the members of IWC  of Madras South went to Bird Old Age Home, Acharapakkam and donated new cotton sarees and lungies to elderly people for Diwali celebration. It was vy touching to see the elderly people. Each member's involvement was seen in this project as each one brought a saree or a lungi, well gift wrapped and put it in the collection bag kept at our GB meeting. This is also one of our heart touching projects.

Each friend represents a world in us ;esp during this festival season when the excitement is palpable. 90% attendance at GB meeting, combined with Diwali SWEET competition & Kolattam in Sanjukta's residence. Thanks PDC SWARNA for judging the competition . All of us thoroughly enjoyed the colourful & cheerful atmosphere.
